Hauling plastic sleds with compost across the farm field, while an essential step in the compost dropoff process, makes for an effective bobsled training exercise. Go, team. |

Chris and Erin empty Coffee House coffee grounds out
of plastic bags. The ENS program is trying to switch from normal plastic
bags to biodegradable bags. These new bags made from corn or potato starch
will biodegrade in 45 days if the temperature of the compost piles get
hot enough. Check out the data page for more information. |
